1. Data we collect

• Resume content: Text and structure of resumes you upload for analysis.
• Account data: If you sign up, we collect email (and optionally name/linked profile from OAuth providers like Google).
• Usage data: Logs such as IP address, browser type, and actions (e.g. upload, view results) to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to: (a) provide resume analysis and scores; (b) store your results if you have an account; (c) improve our models and product (e.g. aggregated, anonymized insights); (d) communicate with you (e.g. support, important updates); and (e) comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal data or resume content to third parties.

3. AI and resume content

Your resume is processed by our AI to generate your analysis. We do not use your resume content to train public or third-party AI models in a way that identifies you. Any use of data for model improvement is aggregated and anonymized so it cannot be linked back to you.

4. Data sharing

We may share data with: (a) service providers that help us run the Service (e.g. hosting, analytics), under strict confidentiality; (b) authorities when required by law or to protect our rights; (c) a successor in a merger or acquisition, with notice where appropriate. We do not sell or rent your data.

5. Retention and security

We retain resume content and analysis only as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by law. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion for backup and legal purposes. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (e.g. encryption in transit, access controls).

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, and (in some jurisdictions) data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pm-resume-intelligence.com. You can also delete your account from your account settings. EU/UK users may have additional rights under GDPR; we will respond to valid requests within the required timeframes.

7. Children and international transfer

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Our services may be provided from and your data may be processed in countries outside your residence; we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards where required.
